HEDA: Add or Update Addresses

NOTE: Multiple addresses is disabled by default for all Account record types, except Household Accounts. You can enable multiple addresses in HEDA Settings. See Enable Multiple Addresses for Accounts.
Enable Multiple Addresses for ContactsThis section is only required if you installed HEDA prior to version 1.14, or started a HEDA trial before November 16, 2016.
Add the Addresses Related List to ContactsThis section is only required if you installed HEDA prior to version 1.14, or started a HEDA trial before November 16, 2016.
After you enable multiple addresses for Contacts, add the Addresses related list to the Contacts page layout.
Here we're providing instructions for adding Addresses for your Contacts or Accounts, without overwriting the Mailing Address or Billing Address fields on the Contact or Account detail.
To add a new address for a Contact or Account:
NOTE: If you want to be able to make small address changes to the Address fields on the Contact or Account, such as fixing a typo or updating a single address field, you can set the Simple Address Change Treated as Update setting. For more info, see A note about the Simple Address Change Treated as Update setting . . .
Even if you have this setting enabled, it's always best practice to make edits to Addresses from the Address records themselves.
